our sightseeing trips
From Easter to the end of October half term, The Hampshire Rose can be found running half hour trips out of Ilfracombe Harbour. Our usual sightseeing trip ventures west, towards the famous Victorian Tunnels Beaches, taking in the history and views of Ilfracombe from the sea.
Sightseeing and Wildlife cruises
Trips usually run every half hour, typically starting from 10.00 am and continuing throughout the day. Trip times do of course vary depending on tide times and demand. During school holidays, we often run up until 7.00 pm or 8.00 pm.

When our timetable allows, we also run special trips for an hour, or sometimes even longer.
During these trips we take in more of the beautiful North Devon coast, and depending on sea and tide conditions we might head first west then east, or vice versa.

Whether you are thinking of a romantic sunset cruise, a trip out for a group of lifeboat enthusiasts, a party, filming, photography or anything in between, we offer private hire of The Hampshire Rose throughout the sailing season (weather and sea conditions permitting) and we'll work with you to create your own unique experience.

The Hampshire Rose and her crew have featured in a number of local and national publications, and the boat has been used by several production companies both as a feature in their work and as a filming platform.
