MEET THE TEAM
We have a great team here at The Hampshire Rose, and we're proud to be able to say that not only is the whole team dedicated to making every trip aboard our historic lifeboat as enjoyable and memorable as possible, most of our crew members are also involved with the local Ilfracombe RNLI lifeboat station, either as volunteer crew or in another capacity.
Our skippers have many years of experience behind them, and our crew members have been part of the team for at least a year, if not longer.
No crew list would be complete without a salty sea dog, and although our skippers and some of the crew do fit that description, Penny is the one who gets the title.
A Chihuahua / Jack Russell cross, she can often be found in the wheelhouse with Stuart, or out on the Quay selling tickets with the team.
She is sometimes a bit wary of people and other dogs, but she's friendly once she gets over the nerves, and she loves being petted.

One word of warning - once you start giving her attention or cuddles, you've a job for life!
